Saying I love to read is an understatement. I am one of those people that have my nose in 2-5 books at one time.  It feels magical to hold a paper book in my hand with words that express something another human being is experiencing.  I love sitting with a book in my hand and pen in the other, ready to mark up the pages, underline and highlight sentences and words, and feel like as I am reading I am in a conversation with the author.   Books transcend time and space, giving me the opportunity to be with an author through their words, regardless of where in the world he/she is or if they are even still alive.
