Beyond Manifestation

What is the Name of the Game?

Recently I was having lunch with a friend who I have had several deep conversations with.  We were chatting about life and what we have each been up to recently.  He is BIG in to Napoleon hill, which make sense considering they have the same birthdays, October 26th, such an obvious little clue 😉 Although we meet each other deeply, and are very present with each other, it feels we are on different tracks.  We started chatting about synchronicities and how something he had talked about with a friend a few days ago had shown up the next day, without even trying.  He began to wonder about the relationship between talking about the object and how quickly it showed up, and how then, to make that happen with all of his desires (specifically the bigger ones!).

It’s a good question to ask, to logically want to use the mind to observe these ‘coincidences’ and go deeper.  Having JUST come back the day before this lunch from a 10 day meditation, something felt off to me about the place he was coming from though, so I ask him, “What is the name of the game you are playing” – and he answered, “Manifestation”, “Ah” I said, “That is not the name of the game I am playing” -and it led me to go deeper in to what game I AM playing.  Lately, all I see are people and advertisements about “manifest THIS” or “manifest THAT” or “manifest your dream ____Insert: car, body, lover, job, life____ with velocity!” and something just doesn’t feel right, doesn’t feel complete, about that….

When I had some time to myself later, I asked, “Why are humans so in love with this word Manifestation then? So intrigued with playing the game of Manifestation?”

and received ~ because it feels so good to turn thoughts to things, to KNOW through the experience of receiving a physical object that all things start out as a (mental) vibration and then lead to the physical thing.  To finally realize our life is in our own hands, that we are the creators – a truth that has been buried for many years.

~AHHH ok, deep 🙂 I can understand when we first awaken to this truth it would then easily turn in to a game of “Let’s see what I can manifest since I am the creator”

Yes, obviously I acknowledge that we ARE physical beings (but also mostly vibration beings!).  Yes, it is sooooooo nice to hold something or have something in our hands that we have thought into existence. The fullness and satisfaction of that is breathtaking.  That I cannot deny.

Manifestation is wonderful But that’s not the name of the game I am playing.

To put so much attention, so much work in to this, so much hype about acquiring more shiny things, more and more objects THAT AREN’T EVEN REAL (remember, this reality is a facade, a sea of atoms together creating the objects we see, touch, experience, US even! phew… really sit with that until it seeps in, ‘you’ even are a bunch of atoms… beautiful beautiful atoms, a sea of changing, a sea of light, a sea of life, a sea of vibration, a sea of undulating existence…)

That’s why all of this ‘manifesting stuff’ feels off the mark.
It’s not the object we are after. At the deepest level it’s not about manifesting  THINGS.

Want to go deeper? L e t   g o .

Let go of it all!
Let go of manifesting.
Let go of the object.
Let go of desire.
Let go of your mind.
Let go of you.

It’s the vibration.

It’s the feeling.

It’s the getting in to the flow with the universe, allowing, receiving and seeing what shows up, being happy no matter what, living in life free and untouchable, trusting what is, safe, love pouring from your eyes no matter what is in front of you or who is in front of you or what you see or feel or what “objects” are there because all is..

…because all is God.

That’s the name of the game I am playing.  Several ways to say it: alignment with Tao, the Way, God, The Universe, Mother Nature, Life, Flow, being outside of thought. This place, that is where we all exist and where I choose to live from. Beyond Thought. Beyond Manifestation. Beyond Desire. Fully Realized. Fully Free. In Love. As Love.

“Therefore the Master takes action
by letting things take their course.
He remains as calm at the end
as at the beginning.
He has nothing,
thus has nothing to lose.
What he desires is non-desire;
what he learns is to unlearn.
He simply reminds people
of who they have always been.
He cares about nothing but the Tao.
Thus he can care for all things.”
– Lao- Tzu, Tao Te Ching
